About us

Who we are

We are a team of change-makers who believe that every helping hand needs a place to put foundations in. A Temple is not just a place of worship but a place where people meet like minded people, socialise, practice their culture and be proud of their heritage. The young people learn about their identity and roots and become confident citizens.

We started extending help to needy people and youth who were eager to get a better life. This moment intensified when we found that there was a gap in the Society. Hindus in the entire Essex county do not have a place to call their own. Not even a community Centre where they could practice their culture or religion. Our team expanded and we spread out in different regions to make sure we cover all possible areas and help as many people as possible.

We now run a regular temporary Community centre and Temple in Quakers Meeting House. We run low cost tuitions for Primary and secondary school students, Seniors club and through out the year we organise various events and festivals for all to participate and enjoy.

Our approach

Our Mission
Our mission is to make sure Hindus of Chelmsford and Essex get all the support they need to become one with the larger community and be confident citizens of the country.

Whether it is a reassuring conversation, financial help, educational help, spiritual training, or simply the assurance that they are not alone, we will make sure that everyone gets support that meets them where they’re at as quickly as possible.

Our Vision
We want to build a world a Kutumb (family) where no one feels alone be it an adult or a child. They get every possible help they need as soon as possible.

Our entire team wants to see a world where every youngster struggling in any way feels able to reach out and has like minded people who’ll help them with whatever their needs be. We want to spread out in every region so we’ll be reachable to all.
